Spend a Busy Week With Me.

Hello everyone. How are you all this week? My week has been hectic and very out of the ordinary. The past couple of weeks have been like this. Crazy busy and full of things I don’t usually do! Being uncomfortable may be difficult but it is worth it! That is my current motto. On top of everything, hay-fever may be slowly killing me. You would think that after all the healthy eating and exercise, a bit of grass wouldn’t be so problematic! The universe humbling me as always.

Before I continue, it would be amazing if you subscribed/followed my blog. It is as simple as adding your email to the bar below. Thank you 🙂

I finally had the big dentist appointment! I did it and it wasn’t so bad. If you read my last blog post on conquering fear you’ll know what I am talking about. I didn’t go into the gory details and don’t think you would like to hear it. Let’s just say I have had a problem with one tooth my whole life. The only reason I ever went to the dentist was because of this one tooth and now it’s gone! It must’ve been cursed or something. If you share this fear of the dentist, I get you. It is unfortunate that it is something we must all face. I have the best dentist and they made me feel very comfortable.

I also had an assessment this week for something I can’t discuss yet. Let me tell you it was stressful and emotionally draining. However, I am one step closer to my goals (that will be uncovered very soon, I promise). I have a lot of very enjoyable events coming up and lots to look forward to. Hopefully I can fit in some rest with everything that is going on.

What does your life look right now? Is it crazy busy? Are you on the verge of something crazy and exciting happening like me? Is it normal? Are you feeling not so good about some things? Whatever it is, I believe everything happens for a reason. If you are in a happy phase – enjoy it! If not, your happy phase is coming, and this is a growth period. A positive spin on every situation helps me, although I do let myself rant too.

I have the most exciting wedding filled weekend. My friend got married last year and unfortunately not everyone managed to attend her wedding due to COVID restrictions. She is having a party this weekend to celebrate their wedding and their anniversary. The next day, my auntie and uncle (to be) is getting married. What a wonderful day that will be. I will have all the pictures for you all in next week’s blog post. They have the nicest relationship, and it will be a truly wonderful day celebrating their relationship. I haven’t really been to a wedding in my adult life, and I think they are such joyous occasions. Marriage may be a different topic, but weddings are beautiful days. I am looking forward to celebrating my friends and family.

Guess what! You guys must go the Bio Cafe if you are ever in Aberdeen. You see those amazing desserts and food in the images below? They are all vegan and refined sugar free and taste amazing! It is as if someone created a cafe just for me! You must go! We got a feast. It is a shame that I live so far away from Aberdeen but if I lived closer it would break the bank, so maybe not so bad!

June is such an event filled month. I feel like everyone has some big event planned in June. I am also finishing up my part-time job that I have had for three years on Friday! Now I have my degree, and all these plans for my future I feel that it is time to move on and solely focus on my career. I have learned so much about Italian food and it has been a very important experience in my life. Of course, there is an end to everything, and now is the time for this to end. I have been working in hospitality since I was thirteen! I think now that I have my degree it is time to focus on making my way as a health professional.

My degree classification comes through on the 6th of July and I cannot wait to become a registered nutritionist. A registered nutritionist, how have I made it here?! It is so important to take the victories in life and celebrate your success. Graduation will be a wonderful day. I have worked so hard for my degree, and I hope I can give it the celebration it deserves. I hope to go back to uni, but finishing my degree is such a huge milestone and I must say, it feels incredible (and a little scary).

I hope you all celebrate a win this week. Even if you feel like it’s been the worst week in the world, I am sure there is something to be grateful for.

What I am grateful for this week:

  1. Empathetic and qualified dentists.
  2. Modern medicine!
  3. My home.
  4. The happiness of my friends and family.
  5. Jacob.
  6. Hard situations that feel impossible but are merely a learning curve.
  7. Being able to remind myself not to quit and that I am doing better than I could ever imagine.
  8. This blog and how therapeutic it is – it feels great to communicate my emotions and life to you all (it’s funny you think that would be scary).
  9. All these amazing opportunities that have presented themselves to me.
  10. Vegan and refined sugar free food and cafes!

Thank you for reading. It means the world!
