23/02/22 – Busier Than Ever and Loving It!

Hi everyone, thank you so much for the love on my last blog post. For some reason you all loved my pretty terrible attempt at poetry. I suppose it’s the thought that counts! It was very nice to let loose and get creative in last week’s blog post – try something new.

I hope you have all had a fantastic week and maybe a little snow!

When I say I am busy I mean I am BUSY. This last semester of Uni is crazy. I am working so hard to get my dissertation together and I hope to make it a meaningful contribution to society and a summation of everything I have learned in the past four years. I cannot wait for it to be all finished and polished. Graduation day will be amazing! I am sorry guys; I feel like all I talk about is Uni and how crazy it is.

I am working on some very exciting things for summer after I have got my degree (and maybe a few more qualifications). I am so excited. I don’t think I’ll tell you guys yet, but let’s just say that I am going to be working like crazy until June. Oh well, I like hard work. I think being healthy has massively changed my productivity. I am happy to work hard, work late, exercise every day, educate myself to crazy levels and all else. I enjoy it and I never remember feeling that before now. Maybe that’s because I was a teenager and now my mindset is much MUCH different but still, I like to believe that its health and taking care of my body, physically and mentally.

Do you ever worry that you do too much?

I certainly do. As soon as I get a break, I am thinking about what’s next. What more could I be doing? I should probably evaluate that, what do you think? I think my conclusion for now is that I like spending my days doing things, working towards something. I hope that is a good thing and not some pathological need to feel good enough or qualified enough. We’ll see!

You can see me hugging a tree in one of those photos above, which, by the way, I highly recommend. Believe it or not, putting your hands or feet on a tree or on the ground creates a natural state within your body that aligns you to nature! It is such a simple and easy thing to do and when we are constantly around laptops, phones, and screens, grounding ourselves with trees and plants with the natural frequency of the earth is an amazing way to reset and feel good. Top tip for this week – go out and hug some trees. I should start doing homework tasks for you all, health homework tasks.

We got some beautiful snow that lasted for a few days over the weekend there. I was so busy over the weekend but forced myself out to walk up a snowy Lomond hill with Jacob. It was wonderful and he got some beautiful pictures of the snow and me walking in it. These types of activities are always exactly what you need, without realising it. It is quite good having a boyfriend who can take such nice photos.

I hope you all have the best week and get busy!

As always, thank you for reading. It means everything!

This is an important one!
