A Week with Me: The Full Moon, Covid Vaccines and Thoughtful Presents.

Hi everyone, How are you today? I hope you have had a good week.

Now I am looking back, this week seems to have been an interesting one. Let me share it with you.

I love sharing random pictures with you all from my week – let’s call it a weekly photo dump. Let me know in the comments what you have gotten up to this week!

I work at a little authentic Italian pasta shop two nights a week. I have worked there for almost three years now (I think). It’s my 21st birthday tomorrow and last week they got me the most thoughtful gift. I know you will all appreciate it as much as I did. It’s as if they put me in a gift basket. Fruit, vegetables, herbs, pesto, a book, wholewheat pasta, a beautiful card! AMAZING, right? It was such a kind gift and I felt so loved!

Last Friday was the full moon – do you believe in the power of the moon? I definitely do, we wouldn’t have life without it. Usually, I take some time to write down things/ emotions I want to let go of and focus on things I want to grow in my life. I write it all down and burn it. A little ritual I have. It’s a good thing for my mental health and feels as though we have a fresh, healthy start every full moon. You should create your own full moon ritual, or maybe a new moon ritual!

The full moon is also fascinating to learn about. I have a podcast about the moon if you are interested in hearing more.

I don’t know what your stance is on the covid vaccine – whether you are for it, against it or indifferent. I wanted to take some time to think the vaccine through and really come to my own conclusion on it. I’ve never had to make a decision on a vaccine before and if I am quite honest with you, needles, doctors or anything to do with hospitals SCARE me. I’ve never really needed to go to the doctors for anything and something about going is traumatising to me. An irrational fear I probably need to evaluate.

Long story short, I made the decision that getting the vaccine was the right thing to do. Me and Jacob went last Saturday to get our first dose. It felt right and I’m very happy we decided to go and do it together. I didn’t feel different after, just a very sore arm the next day! The day after Jacob and I had a chill day and didn’t exercise (we couldn’t get our arms above our head). We went for a walk, did our weekly shop and Jacob took some pictures of me – photos are coming!

I love how cold and autumnal it is getting. I love the seasons. I think I would miss it if I moved. Where do you live? What is the weather like there? I know there are so many different people from all over the world that read my blogs. It is so interesting to see. Thank you to every single one of you. Your views, follows and likes mean everything to me.

I’ll hopefully have a nice update for you next week – I have lots of really wholesome plans this weekend with my friends and family for my birthday. I am looking forward to having a nice break from everything and really enjoying celebrating with my family and friends. I can’t wait to update you all on it next week! Then I’ll be thinking about Christmas! This year has gone so fast. I must remind myself to slow down and enjoy every moment of this existence.

This week’s podcast will still be up as usual. I recorded it today and scheduled it for Sunday! I am logging off – I hope everyone has the best week and I’ll speak to you all next week!

Thank you for reading!
