Hi everyone. How are you all this week? Today, I bring you a little life update of what’s been going on. I hope you like this type of blog post. You guys seem to like these ones from my blog stats. I hope you’re having a WONDERFUL day. Let me give you some good energy, from me to you.
Okay, so as you all know I journal everyday (mostly) and at the new moon (new beginnings) I look at my goals and life aspirations and do some manifestation. Sounds a bit crazy, I know. I like being in tune with nature. Who knows if it makes a difference – I like to believe so. I believe in the law of attraction and manifestations. I think you attract what you think about often and if you are positive, happy and enjoying life. This doesn’t mean in any way that I expect to be happy all the time. For me, it’s about feeling any emotion that comes up for me, at any time and attempt to feel and understand it. If it’s possible I like to think positively about the situation and understand that everything Is happening for a greater purpose. I don’t think life is meant to be great all the time and that’s perfectly okay with me. I have learned so much in times of adversity. I am very privileged that I am able to think this way – so many people can’t.
Anyway, my point is that my manifestations are becoming true! At least the path is becoming clearer on what I have to do to get there. I figured this out yesterday when journaling – certain things in my life are happening to ENSURE I get what I have been manifesting about. Isn’t that just amazing! Even if it’s all coincidence. It doesn’t matter to me. I believe there is order to the universe and we attract certain things. That has been proven true in my life. You are entitled to your opinion and I totally get it if you think it’s all a load of rubbish. We all have a choice to believe in whatever we like. I choose to believe in something positive and uplifting.
So that was a win for me this week and it feels great to be able to start to see how it’s all working out in the longer term. I hope you are getting what you want from this life and you feel as though everything is working out for you. Even if it doesn’t feel like it – I bet it is.
I have been LOVING my yoga and meditation every day. I really enjoy it and it has become a part of my everyday routine. I think when things become part of your everyday, you start to crave it. You start to feel hungry for it, like lunch :). I am inches away from managing the splits! That will be a GOOD day. I have been working on inversions and headstands. It looks easy but it’s not! I can now do a pretty impressive headstand and that is progress! I think it should be celebrated. I’m very happy about it and I feel much more flexible and nourished. Yoga is nourishing. That is the perfect word for it.
Like I said in last week’s blog post, it was our 1-year anniversary last week! It was such a wonderful day. We chilled, watched Netflix, went pumpkin picking, carved pumpkins, I made a nice dinner and received a beautiful bouquet of roses. I made ratatouille and a chocolate tart type thing (all vegan and refined sugar free). If I do say so myself, it was very good. Comment below if you want the recipes!
I used the pumpkin seeds from the pumpkins to make roasted pumpkin seeds for the dessert and I made pumpkin and butternut squash soup the next day from all the pumpkin guts. If you are celebrating Halloween with pumpkin carving, please use the guts and seeds. You can make soup and so many other things. If you don’t like cooking or can’t be bothered, you can put chopped up pumpkin and/or pumpkin guts in a woodland area and animals will eat them. Some animals struggle to find food at this time of year. Instead of wasting food, give It away! Food waste is contributing to global warming and 30-50% of all food is wasted!
